Texas Access to Justice Foundation Turns 30
 

Kickoff Event Features Distinguished Panel Discussion and Reception

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Access to Justice Foundation (TAJF) invites you to attend a distinguished panel discussion on the past, present, and future of legal services followed by a reception honoring the decades of service and work of the Foundation.

When:     Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, 6:30 p.m.

Where:    LBJ Presidential Library, 10th Floor Atrium

Featuring:   

Congressman Pete Gallego, 23rd District of Texas

Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht, Supreme Court of Texas

Dean Martha Minow, Harvard Law School

Moderator: Elizabeth Christian, ECPR

Parking Information:
We recommend parking in the Manor Garage located at the corner of Robert Dedman Drive and Clyde Littlefield Drive (approximately two blocks from the Library). There is a fee of $3 per hour. Free parking will be available in lots #37, 38, and 39 on Red River Street; however, due to another event that evening, those parking lots may be full. Click here for a map of the area. -

The Texas Access to Justice Foundation (www.teajf.org), created by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1984, is the primary state-based funding source for the provision of civil legal aid in Texas. The organization is committed to the vision that all Texans will have equal access to justice, regardless of their income. The Foundation administers a variety of funding sources, which are earmarked to assist nonprofit organizations in providing legal aid to approximately 100,000 Texas families each year.
