Equal Justice Works Fellowships
The Texas Access to Justice Foundation, committed to ensuring access to justice for the poor, partners with Equal Justice Works in the sponsorship of innovative fellowship projects in Texas. The Equal Justice Works Fellowships Program is the largest postgraduate legal fellowship program in the nation. The program was launched in 1992 to address the shortage of attorneys working on behalf of traditionally under-served populations and causes in the United States and its territories. Each year, law firms, corporations and private foundations generously sponsor Equal Justice Works Fellows. These entrpreneurial, public interest lawyers design two-year projects in conjunction with nonprofit organizations that have an intimate knowledte3 of the most critical needs in the communities they serve. TAJF is interested in co-sponsporing Fellows with firms, corporations or other foundations, as we have with Greenberg Traurig LLP since 2010.
The Class of 2021 application period is open until September 17, 2020.
